Teresa Cisneros (b.1974, Eagle Pass. Lives and works in London) Teresa Cisneros is a Chicana (Mexican-American) is a curator, art educator and arts administrator. She’s worked with institutions such as including at Iniva (Institute of International Visual Arts), Tate Modern, 198 Contemporary Arts & Learning, Nottingham Contemporary, The Showroom and the Wellcome Collection, as well as with the collective sorryyoufeeluncomfortable. She co-founded the independent curatorial collective agency for agency in 2015. And is also co-director / founder of b.Dewitt Gallery a new gallery project platforming and contextualising art practices. Cisneros' projects and work explore the politics of identity, history and contemporary art practices.
