Richard Hughes (b.1974, Birmingham, lives and works in Herefordshire), lived in Birmingham until leaving for art school at 18. He studied fine art at Staffordshire University, 1992–1995, followed by an MA at Goldsmiths College, 2001–2003. Recent solo shows include “Field Trip”, the Modern institute, Glasgow (2014); “Scene inbetween”, Nils Staerk, Copenhagen (2014); “Time is over, time has come”, Firstsite, Colchester (2013); “Where it all happened once”, Tramway, Glasgow (2012).
