(Lives and works in Norwich.) Peter Nencini worked across print and television for organisations such as the New York Times, BBC, Channel 4, Levi’s Europe and Théâtre National de Toulouse after graduating from the Royal College of Art. Recent commissions for Galerie für Zeitgenössische Kunst Leipzig, Walker Art Center Minneapolis and Wallpaper* / Salone del Mobile Milan have resulted in architectural models, prostheses for furniture, pedagogical apparatus, props for performance – narrative forms that oscillate between the typo- and the picto-graphic. He teaches at Norwich University of the Arts. Recent works include; ‘Weltall, Erde, Mensch’, Galerie für Zeitgenössische Kunst, Leipzig (2014); ‘A School of Design Fiction’, with James Langdon, Galerie für Zeitgenössische Kunst, Leipzig (2013); ‘Typography Summer School’, The Drawing Room, London (2013); ‘Penser / Classer’ L’École Supérieure d’Art et Design, Valence, (2013), ‘Secondment’, Beginnings NYC, New York, (2013). In 2013 he codesigned ‘The Artist and The Engineer’ Eastside Projects’ User’s Manual Draft #6.
