Magnus Quaife (b. 1975, UK. Lives and works in Manchester.) Quaife’s paintings are punctuated by a fascination with painting itself: with painting as language; painting as translation; painting as currency; painting as an idea. Recent projects include, ‘As Long As the Pain Lasted,’ The International 3, Manchester, 2008 and ‘Let Me Tell You a Story,’ Porta 33, Funchal.
