Ashley Bickerton (b. 1959, Barbados. Lives and works in Bali) Ashley Bickerton was a seminal figure in the Neo-Geo movement of artists in New York in the 1980s alongside Jeff Koons and Peter Halley, and remains an influential figure with a younger generation of artists. His works feature in the collections of the Museum of Modern Art, New York; Tate Modern, London; Fondation Cartier pour l'Art Contemporain, Paris; Stedelijk Museum, Amsterdam; Berardo Collection Museum in Lisbon, Portugal; the Museum of Contemporary Art, Chicago; and the Whitney Museum of American Art, New York.
