Ana Kazaroff (b.1984, Buenos Aires, Argentina. Lives and works in London) Ana Kazaroff makes sculptural paintings and salami architecture for installations where she explores ideas of stereotypes, authenticity and cultural mistranslations. In her paintings she combines 1960s sci-fi, meat, stone and religious imagery. She uses fake materials in relation to cultural stereotypes. She is currently an Artist Woodwork Fellow at City & Guilds of London Art School. Her work was recently exhibited at Deptford X, the Griffin Gallery, Thames-Side Studios Gallery and b.Dewitt Gallery. Kazaroff holds an MA in Fine Art from City & Guilds of London Art School.
