Conceived by directors of Kunstverein Schwerte, Christian Freudenberger and Markus Karstieß, the ‘Corridor Plateau’ exhibition series explores thresholds in the thin width of human existence.

Starting with the darker forces, the remote regions, and the depth of ones own anxiety, the invited artists develop a unique cabinet of shadows, a chamber, an apartment, a plateau. And for the time of the show their collective search appears visible.
