Every Wednesday from 12–5pm you can explore our exhibition LOCAL SUPERSTAR in a way which has been designed for people with additional sensory and access needs who would enjoy a quieter, calmer visit.

What to expect:

– A warm and friendly welcome from our staff.

– Lowered sounds (ear defenders are also available).

– Chairs to rest, with backs (lumbar support cushions are also available).

– Large format and audio versions of written material.

– Wheelchair accessible entrance and exhibition space.

– Warm drinks.

Please note that this drop in accessible session will be within the gallery’s normal opening hours, however we have chosen a quieter time so it is more relaxed. We will also ask visitors to maintain lowered conversation volume when in the gallery.

The exhibition includes sound which will be set at a lower level for each access afternoon.
