Digbeth First Friday: unfolding into these

6pm – 8pm

Join us this Digbeth First Friday for unfolding into these — a film screening within our current Gallery Two exhibition, The Library is All of These.

With works by Moira Salt and Anne-Marie Copestake, both films draw out the tender moments that pulse beneath the surfaces of the exhibition—the fingertips, the gestures, the soft exchanges between body and space.

In parallel with the exhibition, the screening centres people within architectural and civic spaces—thinking through ideas of Architectural Ethnography and spatial justice. These films gesture toward a choreography of soft interactions. Thinking about the body as terrain, a body which (even in absence) lingers, responds, absorbs, and filters.

The body as terrain. Space as membrane.

On most days, the library is all of these.
