Lunch Club and Tea Sharing

1pm – 2pm

This event discussed The Endless Villageexhibition and we read an adapted extract of Marina Warner’s book No Go the Bogeyman, which talks about the significance of bananas as a food of comedy, sexuality and fear. Marina Warner traces the origins of the banana back to 15th Century, looking at its colonial history and social symbolism.
