EOP members Chelsea Mildenhall, Simran Ahira, Santhanha Nguyen, Tammy Woodrow, Sonia Levesque, Caitriona Dunnett, Jo Hepburn, Damandeep Sangha, David Bartlett and Sherrie Edgar will be joining artists from Two Queens in Leicester and Primary in Nottingham on a series of Midlands Away Days across 2026 and 2027.

Each Away Day opens the doors to the art scene in each organisation’s home city, connecting with artists and curators who are making work and running galleries and projects. Being hosted in this way creates relaxed opportunities to build networks, meet artists working elsewhere, and understand more about the creative spaces, projects and people in different cities.

The first Go Midlands! Away Day in Birmingham will be hosted by Eastside Projects in July and the group will visit Vivid Projects, Freehouse, Grand Union, Stryx, Centrala, Eastside Projects, BOM and Ikon Gallery, with introductions from staff and organisers in each space.
