ESP members Emilie Atkinson, Ben Harding, Sophie Huckfield and Dolly Kershaw have been commissioned by Eastside Projects to make new editions that solve a problem in the gallery.
As the artists and makers are working through designs, recipes and processes, it’s time to bring in future consumers to test the initial works and help shape the next set of decisions.
Are you a cyclist? Do you have dirty hands? Do you have lots of loose change you need to get rid of? Are you a lighting expert? If so, or if you just want to be part of the conversation, we’d like you to join us to test some products in progress.
Emilie Atkinson is producing soap and soap dishes for the Eastside Projects bathroom, Ben Harding is designing and making a new light for the gallery, Sophie Huckfield is testing a variety of ways to safely secure bikes on the front of the gallery and Dolly Kershaw is making Eastside Projects a donations box.
The artists will introduce their works and ideas and we’ll talk about what’s working and how they could be improved. Bring your expertise and problem-solving minds to the gallery.
