Are you interested in how gallery learning programmes are developed? Do you want to work with young people but need experience of running participatory sessions?

This session launches the second year of ESP/IYP Exchange, a project developed in partnership with Ikon Gallery Learning Team and their Youth Programme IYP.

ESP/IYP Exchange gives ESP members the opportunity to gain experience by running a practical, paid workshop focussed on their creative field with young people, aged 16–21, with support, mentoring and training from Ikon’s Learning Team. The 2017 programme will run from April to September.

Join us for a short presentation from James Cockbill, Ikon’s Learning Coordinator and members of IYP and find out more about working in gallery education – how to get started, how to approach galleries, how to develop a learning activity and how to get involved in ESP/IYP Exchange.
