Kate Pryor-Williams is the Midlands Relationship Manager for Visual Arts at Arts Council England, she led this session on how to make applications to Arts Council England’s Grants for the Arts.

Kate began by introducing Grants for the Arts, explaining what it is and how it compares to other types of funding offered through Arts Council England.

The session covered who can apply for this particular type of grant and what kinds of activity it can be used for, and we heard about preparing your application and how to access assistance before you submit it.

Kate talked us through the structure of the application form and how best to approach its different sections and questions, as well as giving us practical guidance on how to use the online system to make your application for funding.

True to the application making process, Kate concluded the session by talking about application assessments and how decisions are reached.
