ESP members joined Eastside Projects' Director Ruth Claxton for a practical session about writing applications and proposals for jobs and opportunities. This informal session was led by ESP members, armed with questions and queries.

As an artist Ruth Claxton has applied, successfully and unsuccessfully, for many things over the last 20 years, from jobs to residencies, exhibition proposals to funding bids she has had to articulate her ideas and experience in lots of different ways to all kinds of people. As Associate Director at Eastside Projects she is involved in the selection processes for jobs, exhibitions and ESP opportunities and so has substantial experience of looking through a wide range of applications.
