Our ESP and Public Programmer Amelia and two guest curators Seán Elder (Associate Curator and Grand Union) and Lisa Beauchamp (Curator of Modern and Contemporary Art at Birmingham Museums) hosted an evening of speed dating for curators.

The speed date brought together new and old members and invite conversations around each other’s interests and practices. Following a rapid-fire speed date structure, ESPer's had five minutes to get to know each other, before moving on to the next date. The five-minute flash was an opportunity for conversation about current projects and mutual interests. After the dates a potluck meal was shared, where everyone brought a food contribution, as a starting point for conversation.
