ONLINE Workshop: (Holistic) Project Organisation for Artists

1pm – 3pm

Join artist/political librarian/sagittarius/organiser Sahjan Kooner for a thoughtfully designed workshop that bridges project organisation principles with the unique rhythms of artistic practice. This two-hour virtual session offers structured approaches to creative development while honouring your artistic process.

This isn't about squeezing your wild creative energy into rigid spreadsheets. It's about finding playful structures that amplify your artistic vision.

What You'll Experience: - Visual Project Mapping: Transform abstract ideas into manageable components - Resource Planning: Practical strategies for gathering what you need to succeed - Milestone Development: Create timelines that provide structure without stifling creativity - Peer Consultation: Connect with fellow artists in focused breakout discussions

Who Should Attend: Visual artists, performers, writers, designers, and interdisciplinary creatives seeking more effective ways to bring their projects together.

Participants are encouraged to come with a specific project in mind for practical application during the workshop activities.

All participants will receive digital resources to continue implementing these strategies in their artistic practice after the workshop.

About Sahjan

Sahjan is an amalgamation of inherited worlds and speculative futures, they work in a freelance capacity to support their practice and owe a great deal to their family, they are a student of the dream state. Using video and installation, they create expansive worlds that explore the traces of love, hope and imagination that make our lives possible, along with examining a debris of questions around the technological, social and racialised structures that augment life.

This event has been organised by Eastside Projects for the Kaleidoscope Network, a collaboration between Spike Island (Bristol), Primary (Nottingham), The NewBridge Project (Newcastle), Bloc Projects (Sheffield) and Eastside Projects (Birmingham). EOP Members are automatically part of the Kaleidoscope Network and can attend selected events programmed by each partner for free.
