Get involved: The Barber Collective Youth Programme

6pm – 8pm

Are you interested in gallery education? Have you ever thought about hosting workshops for young people? This information could be for you!

We are working with The Barber Collective on their new youth programme at The Barber Institute. Come along to an evening at Eastside Projects to find out how to get involved.

The Barber Collective is a new youth arts group for young people aged 16-21. Twice a month the collective are invited to re-invent The Barber Institutes collection and exhibitions. The group work with artists, performers, dancers and makers to re-interpret a range of works through an interdisciplinary, contemporary art lens.

The Barber Collective are looking for proposals from artists for 2 hour workshops related to re-interpreting the collection. They are particularly interested in artists who may work with the group to create posters/flyers and imagery to advertise their exhibition in spring 20-18. The collective will choose the proposals they would most like to work with. You will receive a fee for each session of £150.

To find out more come along to the evening and ask Rebecca Louise Randle all your burning questions. Details of how to apply will be made available at the event.
