Doing & Thinking | Artist talk by Celine Condorelli

Doing & Thinking | Artist talk by Celine Condorelli Friday 26 April, 6.30-7.30pm

At this talk Celine Condorelli will discuss her practice in general and focus particularly on her working process, which combines a number of different approaches and methodologies from art, architecture, and writing. She will present recent projects around questions of articulate objects such as puppets, that bypass traditional separations between doing and thinking.

Celine Condorelli works with art and architecture, combining a number of approaches from developing structures for ‘supporting’ (the work of others, forms of political imaginary, existing and fictional realities) to broader enquiries into forms of commonality and discursive sites. Recent exhibitions include Additionals, Pavilion, Leeds (2013), The Parliament, Archive of Disobedience, Umeå Bildmuseet, Sweden, Social Fabric, Iniva, London and Lund Konsthall, Sweden, Surrounded by the Uninhabitable, SALT Istanbul (2012).

Celine is one of six Eastside Projects Directors and co-curator of Puppet Show, with Tom Bloor.
