EOP Members Away Day to Nottingham

Join us for a trip to Nottingham, we will be visiting several of the city's art spaces, including BACKLIT, Nottingham Contemporary, New Art Exchange, Primary and more!

This is a great opportunity to meet other EOP members and curators in the Midlands.

Please arrange your transport independently. We can offer a limited number of £20 bursaries towards your costs, if you need it. Please email info@eastsideprojects.org for more details about this.

We will be travelling by train from Birmingham New Street, you can meet us at the train station at 9:30am, or alternatively join us at Nottingham Contemporary at 11:20am. Please book your slot via eventbrite, and choose the appropriate option to let us know where you will join the group.

9:49am – Depart from Birmingham New Street.

11.03 – Arrive in Nottingham by train.

11.20 – Visit Nottingham Contemporary for the exhibition Hollow Earth. Meet Curator Rosa Tyhurst and Assistant Curator Niall Farrelly.

13.15 – Visit BACKLIT and meet Assistant Curator Jazz Swali.

14.15 – Lunch.

16.00 – Visit New Art Exchange for the solo show of Billy Dosanjh

17.20 – Visit Primary and meet with Artist Development Coordinator Colette Griffin and Director Niki Russell.

18.30 –Pub/Dinner/Funtimes.
